Product description
- Winter tyre developed to meet drivers expectations.
- More mobility and better braking performance in snowy conditions.
- Enhanced wet grip.
The Firestone Winterhawk 4 is Winter tyre designed for a wide range of cars, offering a safe ride on wet and snow covered roads.
Snow. A high number of lateral grooves in the shoulder area and zig-zag sipes provide the biting edges required for the tyre to deliver more grip on snow covered roads. This results in 7% more traction than the Winterhawk 3. Shorter braking distances on snowy roads thanks to the optimised contact pressure.
Rain. Water is quickly dispersed through grooves that open towards the outside of the directional tread. Wet braking distances are 4% shorter compared with its predecessor. The tyre has a B-rating on the EU tyre label.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
