Product description
- Reliable tyre in wet weather for compact and high performance cars.
- Higher mileage performance.
- Cornering stability and precise handling.
Designed for compact, passenger and sports cars, the Uniroyal Rainsport 5 offers a higher mileage and superior steering control without compromising wet safety.
Safety in wet weather. In heavy rain, the Shark Skin technology and wide grooves quickly disperse water. Aqua Twist sipes are designed to channel water away from the tyre for increased grip on wet roads. This tyre is rated A on the tyre label.
Sportiness. Two centre ribs and its reinforced shoulders stiffen the tread to deliver a great steering response and top stability whether in a straight line or when cornering.
Longevity. The low abrasion tread compound ensures even wear to deliver 15% more miles than the Rainsport 3.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
