Product description
- Cheap product for passenger vehicles
- Shorter snow and ice braking distances
- Moderate cost per mile
Manufacturer Sonar diversifies its line-up with the POWDERHound Polar Fox PF-1 pneumatic tyre. You can safely drive on snow covered roads thanks to its winter performances on family and saloon cars.
In the versions with "Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake (3PMSF)" and "Mud / Snow" markings, it can deliver a safe ride on very dirty or muddy tracks. Finally, models with the OWR ("One Way Rotation") marking on the sidewall are engineered with only one rolling direction.
This product will provide you short snow and ice braking distances, comfort with limited noise emissions in the passenger compartment, autonomy thanks to reduced rolling resistance and an efficient level of traction in snowy or icy conditions.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
