Product description
- Special tyre for electric or high performance hybrid cars.
- Reduced noise levels.
- Low rolling resistance.
Tyre suitable for each model of high performance hybrid or electric cars, the Pirelli P Zero Elect offers low noise and a low rolling resistance while transferring high grip.
Low noise. Since the motors of electric cars are extremely quiet, the tread of the P Zero Elect has been designed to keep noise levels to a minimum. Rolling noise is absorbed by foam which features PCNS, the Pirelli Noise Cancelling System for enhanced ride comfort.
Rolling resistance. Work has also focused on lowering the rolling resistance to increase the battery range.
Performances. The tread provides immediate grip to satisfy the requirements of electric vehicles which generate maximum torque, even at low revs. The inside part of the asymmetric tread is designed to optimise dry performance. The silica enhanced tread compound and the inside tread pattern improve grip on wet roads.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
