Developed by the Finnish tyre manufacturer Nokian for small and compact SUVs, the Wetproof SUV summer tyre has excellent wet braking abilities and powerful aquaplaning resistance.

Safety. With the “Dual Zone Safety” technology, where each zone has a separate role, the Wetproof SUV provides excellent handling in wet and dry conditions. The “Wet Safety Zone” on the inside has special shaped grooves to accelerate the flow of water and prevent any risk of aquaplaning. The Aqua Hybrid tread compound improves grip on wet roads. It obtains an A-rating on the tyre label.

Handling. The outside stability zone offers precise handling. The responsive lock concept supports the longitudinal ribs to offer a high level of stability.

Robustness. Sidewalls are reinforced with aramid fibres to offer a better resistance to impacts and cuts. The tyre has stone ejectors.

NOKIAN WETPROOF SUV: AT EASE ON DRY AND WET SURFACES

Versatile in its use, the Nokian Wetproof is also available for SUVs and Crossovers. Capable of high performance in different weather conditions, the main aim of this tyre is to prevent any risk of aquaplaning. Thanks to its latest generation technologies such as the “Wet Safety Zone” on the inside tread, it is capable of delivering a high level of grip, particularly on wet surfaces. Nokian has also developed the “Aqua Hybrid” compound technology especially for the SUV version. This new generation rubber compound offers a superior level of wet grip - a criteria where this tyre obtains an A-rating on the EU tyre label - while reducing the rolling resistance.

The SUV version of the Nokian Wetproof uses Aramid sidewall technology with fibre for more resistance. It is available in 27 sizes for 16 to 19 inch rim diameters and for H, V and W speed ratings.
