Product description
- Winter tyre for saloon or family type vehicles
- Limited noise levels
- Exceptional acceleration and braking on snow
For temperatures below 7°C, Kenda proposes the Wintergen 2 KR501 product for use in urban areas and on expressways. It is recommended for motorists driving passenger or family car type vehicles.
This tyre will provide: an enhanced grip, limited rolling noise for a pleasant drive, traction in straight lines and cornering in case of snowfall and moderate braking distances on snow covered roads.
Available with "3 Peak Mountain Snow Flake - 3PMSF" and "M+S" markings, it attests the pneumatic tyre is adapted for riding on dirt tracks but also on snowy surfaces. Finally, versions offering the OWR (One Way Rotation) wording on the sidewalls are developed to only turn in one direction: front to rear.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
