Product description
The Yokohama BluEarth-air EF21 is an environmentally friendly car tyre which has the best ratings for wet grip and rolling resistance on the tyre label.
Environment. The internal structure and the bead filler, both lighter and rigid, results in a weight reduction of about 25% compared with the Advan dB V551. The use of less material and a lower rolling resistance reduces the environmental impact of the tyre. Aerodynamic sidewalls also help reduce fuel consumption.
Safety. The tread compound uses the ART Mixing technology, a high dispersion of nano-fine silica and stronger bonds between polymers, which improves wet braking performance. Wave-shaped drainage grooves remain efficient as the tyre wears down to deliver high grip in heavy rain.
Low noise. The five pitch variation tread design lowers tyre noise.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
