Product description
- Summer tyre suitable for small and medium sized passenger cars.
- Good grip in wet weather.
- Reduced fuel consumption.
Yokohama engineers have focused on the BluEarth AE-01's tread compound to improve fuel consumption and safety when driving city and compact cars.
Handling. Shorter wet braking distances than the A.drive thanks to the micro-silica added to the tread compound and three grooves that quickly drain water. “Dolphin” grooves improve road holding by accelerating the evacuation of water.
Savings. Lower fuel consumption than its predecessor thanks to the combination of active polymers in the Nano Blend compound, a lightweight internal construction and a more aerodynamic profile to reduce rolling resistance. The rubber compound and thin V-shaped sipes prevent uneven wear for a higher mileage potential.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
