Safety. Uniroyal’s Shark Skin technology ensures a high resistance to aquaplaning. A structure based on a shark’s skin is transferred to longitudinal grooves to reduce turbulence and accelerate water drainage. The tread compound sticks to the road to shorten braking distance on wet and dry roads. The wide outer shoulders of the asymmetric tread provide good grip when cornering.
Economy. This tyre has a lower rolling resistance and is therefore more fuel efficient than the RainExpert thanks to the optimised asymmetric tread.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
