Product description

  • Sports tyre for high performance cars.
  • Handling stability at high speed and good cornering grip.
  • High level of wet safety.

Created by the Japanese tyre manufacturer Toyo for high performance and sport cars, the Proxes Sport A combines real driving pleasure with a high level of safety in wet weather.

Sportiness. The tread compound of the Proxes Sport A is developed using the Nano Balance technology, a solid casing and an asymmetric tread to deliver pure driving pleasure. It delivers high directional stability, even at high speed, and precise handling thanks to its three stiff centre ribs. Its large tread blocks on the outside shoulder provide increased stiffness to guarantee a high level of cornering grip.

Safety. The rubber compound combined with slanted grooves on the central ribs increase grip when driving on roads. The tyre is rated A, the best rating on the EU tyre label. In the event of heavy rain, water is quickly removed through longitudinal grooves.

What is the rezulteo score?

The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
