Product description
- Green tyre for city cars and MPVs.
- Energy efficiency.
- Safety and driving pleasure.
Green tyre designed for city cars and MPVs, the Pirelli Cinturato P1 combines ecology, safety and driving pleasure.
Ecology. Thanks to rolling resistance reduced by 25% compared to the Cinturato P6, the Pirelli Cinturato P1 tyre enables a 4% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
Safety. Braking distances have been optimised both on dry and wet surfaces. Pirelli claims a 4% gain on dry roads (at 100 kph compared to the Cinturato P4) and 3% on wet roads (at 80 kph compared to the Cinturato P6)
Driving. Rolling noise in the passenger compartment has been reduced by 30% (-1dB, compared to the Cinturato P4) thanks to an innovative tread pattern with continuous sculptures. Driving precision has been enhanced with the "tension control" system which balances the tyre's footprint.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
