Product description
- High performance car tyre in wet weather.
- High protection against aquaplaning.
- Ride comfort.
The Nokian Wetproof summer tyre adapts to changing summer conditions providing drivers with a high level of safety in wet weather.
Safety in wet weather. The Wetproof uses the “Dual Zone Safety” technology, where each zone has a specific role. The inside zone known as the “Wet Safety Zone” with polished grooves is designed to accelerate the removal of water away from the tyre. As such, the risk of aquaplaning is reduced. The “Aqua Hybrid” tread compound improves wet grip allowing the tyre to obtain an A-rating on the EU tyre label.
Good handling in dry weather. The outside part of the tread called the stability zone improves handling and ensures good stability and precise steering.
Comfort. The “Silent Sidewall” technology, where the compound and sidewall are designed to absorb vibrations and filter noise to offer a comfortable ride.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
