Designed by Nokian for high performance SUVs, the Powerproof SUV combines driving pleasures with high speed stability and first class safety in wet weather

Safety. Thanks to the “Dual Zone Safety” technology, the tyre delivers a high level of safety in wet and dry conditions. The design of the “Wet Safety Zone” increases the flow of water to prevent aquaplaning. The active polymers and the Dynamic Grip component added to the tread compound increases grip on wet and dry surfaces, even at high speed.

Sportiness. The Power Zone on the tyre’s outside shoulder and its strong internal construction offers precise handling and high speed stability.

Robustness. The sidewalls contain extra tough aramid fibres to offer a better resistance to lateral impacts.

Created in collaboration with Finnish Mika Hakkinen, the Formula 1 legend, the Nokian Powerproof UHP summer tyre is designed for a wide range of high performance vehicles. Its SUV version promises drivers of heavy vehicles peace of mind when braking and driving at high speed. Its many technologies based on the original tyre are completed with sidewalls reinforced with strong aramid fibre. The tyres are therefore more resistant to impacts and cuts offering the Nokian tyre maximum durability.

The Nokian Powerproof SUV summer tyre is available in 29 sizes for 17 to 21 inch rim diameters with speed ratings of V, W and Y.
