Product description
- Winter sports tyre for high performance cars.
- Perfect control on winter roads.
- Longer tyre life.
With its high level of safety and control, this 5th version of the Michelin Pilot Alpin winter tyre meets the strict requirements of high performance car manufacturers.
Winter safety. Exemplary handling on snow covered roads thanks to the directional tread with a high siped density. Good grip on winter roads thanks to the high silica tread compound with added sunflower oil to keep it flexible even in low temperatures. Water is quickly dispersed through wide, deep grooves to offer good protection against aquaplaning.
Sportiness. Sipe technology increases the tread stiffness to provide high speed stability and a fast steering response.
Longevity. Slower rate of wear than its predecessor to deliver even more miles.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
