Product description
- Winter tyre for city, compact and family cars.
- Safety on wet surfaces.
- Mileage.
Designed for compact cars, family saloons and small city cars, the Michelin Alpin A3 is a winter tyre with unrivalled performance.
Snow. Good pulling away grip: the Michelin Alpin 3 tyre enables speeds of up to 9% faster than its predecessor on snow-covered roads*. Its tread design, 47% more siping than the competitors' average**, ensures exceptional mobility in the snow.
Safety. On wet surfaces, the Michelin Alpin 3 brakes at least 5% shorter than its predecessor* thanks to its rubber compound. It is highly siped enabling optimal grip in the snow, and on wet and icy surfaces to the wear indicator.
Wear life. The Michelin Alpin A3 delivers on average 40% more mileage than its main competitors**.
* Michelin Alpin A3 on icy, snow-covered and wet roads, compared to the Michelin Alpin A2.
** On average compared to its main competitors. Based on the results of tests conducted in 2006 by TUV Sud Automotive and TUV UVMV on 195/65 R 15 T tyres.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
