Product description
- Summer tyre for off-road 4X4s.
- Enhanced grip and braking on wet surfaces.
- Resistance to cuts.
Summer tyre for off-road 4x4s, the GoodYear Wrangler AT/SA improves the performances of its predecessor, the Goodyear Wrangler AT/R, particularly in terms of braking.
Traction. Off-road performance ensured by numerous block and traction edges. Traction in the mud enhanced by the open intermediary grooves. Good road holding thanks to the rigid shoulders.
Safety. Better grip and shorter braking on wet surfaces* thanks to high-density siping and additional biting edges.
Durability. Tread resistant to cuts and punctures.
Comfort. Quiet drive obtained by the SilentArmor technology bnased on Kevlar fibre plies, a material five times stronger than steel.
* The GoodYear Wrangler AT/SA tyre brakes 15% shorter* on wet roads than the Goodyear Wrangler AT/R. Comparison conducted in September 2008 by Goodyear Technical Center Luxembourg. Dimension tested: 245/70R16C 111/109T on VW Touareg 2.5 TDI R5.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
