Product description
- Winter tyre for city and compact cars.
- Efficient braking on snow covered surfaces.
- Reduced risk of aquaplaning.
Winter tyre designed for city and compact cars, the Goodyear Ultragrip 9 offers confident handling in tough weather conditions.
Safety. Braking distances on winter roads are shorter than with the UltraGrip 8, thanks to self-locking sipes based on 3D-Bis technology. Deep grooves in the directional tread provide a high resistance to aquaplaning. The even contact patch provides straight line and cornering stability.
Snow. Variable depth sipes with multiple biting edges deliver superior traction on snow. Self-locking sipes and compact shoulder blocks enhance handling stability when braking on wet or snow covered roads.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
