Product description
- Car tyre offering a good price/winter performance compromise.
- Good grip in snow and ice.
- Improved snow traction.
3rd generation of the Altimax Winter, the General Tire Altimax Winter 3 places the focus on driver safety in snowy conditions.
Winter. Multi shape sipes positioned at various angles improve grip on snow covered or icy roads. Gripping edges provided by transversal grooves at different angles increase straight line and cornering traction. 3PMSF certified tyre following standard tests on snow.
Handling. Fast steering response in dry conditions thanks to large blocks on the tyre’s shoulders that provide a better transmission of forces.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
