Product description
- Reliable tyre for medium and large-sized cars.
- Fast water drainage.
- Longer tyre life.
Developed for compact, passenger and sports cars, the General Tire Altimax One S offers a safer and more economical drive than the Altimax Sport.
Handling. Connected shoulder blocks increase the tread stiffness to offer a fast response to steering changes and more dry grip.
Safety. Four wide straight grooves quickly push water away from the tyre to prevent any loss of control. Sipes and lateral grooves provide a high number of gripping edges to deliver more grip in wet conditions.
Longevity. The large area in contact with the roads ensures more even wear. The tyre can deliver 12% more miles than the Altimax Sport mainly thanks to the silica enriched tread compound. Premature wear caused by an alignment fault can be detected by indicators on the tyre’s shoulders.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
