Aeolus tyres

Founded in 1965 in Jiaozuo, China, Aeolus started by producing heavy tyres for construction site vehicles. Today, the subsidiary of the ChemChina conglomerate equips many types of vehicles: off-road, passenger cars, trucks, military vehicles, agricultural and forestry vehicles …Aeolus offers several models of tyres for different uses.

Doublestar tyres

Almost 100 years ago, the Chinese state decided to create the company in Qingdao in the Shandong Province. In 2016, Doublestar launched a vast acquisition plan of the South Korean tyre manufacturer Kumho. Today, it holds 45% of the company’s shares, becoming the largest tyre company in China. Doublestar produces several tyres for passenger cars, SUVs, 4x4s and utility vehicles.

Linglong tyres

With more than 50 million tyres produced each year, Linglong Tire is one of the biggest manufacturers of Chinese tyres. Based in Zhaoyuan, in the Shandong Province, Linglong wants to become one of the world’s largest tyre players and aims to sell 90 million tyres per year by 2020. Little by little the Chinese tyre manufacturer has established itself on foreign markets, particularly by supplying OE fitments on several vehicles from car manufacturers such as General Motors, Ford, Volkswagen, Nissan, Fiat and Hyundai. The best Linglong tyres are from the Greenmax ranges which have received quite positive opinions in European tests.

Sailun tyres

Created in 2002, Sailun has become a major player in China and throughout the world with more than 30 million tyres sold each year. The Chinese tyre manufacturer is based at Qingdao in the Shandong Province and has developed an exclusive partnership with the Qingdao University of Science and Technology, specialised in rubber research. Triangle tyres

Created in 1976 under the name of Shandong Tyre Factory, the Chinese manufacturer of Triangle tyres was really established in 2001. The Chinese tyre manufacturer is one of the leading producers with more than 22 million tyres sold each year throughout the world, mainly for passenger cars, off-road vehicles and vans.

Wanli tyres

Wanli is a Chinese tyre manufacturer created by the South China Tire and Rubber Co in 1988. Each year, it produces more than 12 million tyres. The brand proposes several models for passenger cars, SUVs and light utility vehicles. The company headquarters are in Canton, China. The Wanli brand of Chinese tyres has taken part in ADAC tests several times.

Warrior tyres

Warrior is a brand of Chinese tyres created by Double Coin – previously Shanghai Tyre & Rubber – a joint venture with Michelin, who have since sold their shares in the company. This Chinese brand is present in North America and produces tyres for passenger cars and 4x4s.
