Environment. Originally developed in partnership with Volkswagen for its electric car, the Turanza Eco tyre uses the Enliten technology. This technology results in up to 2kg less raw materials used per tyre which lowers the rolling resistance and extends battery life. The tyre has received the best rating, an A on the European tyre label.
Safety. The tread design and 3D sipes ensure maximum performance on wet roads. The four wide circumferential grooves quickly evacuate water to push back the limits of aquaplaning.
Longevity. The new tread compound offers a better resistance to wear which extends the tyre’s service life.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
