Product description

Safety. With the new Bridgestone DriveGuard technology, you can continue to drive safely for 50 miles at 50 mph after a puncture. This technology is adapted to all vehicles equipped with TPMS sensors and not only vehicles that benefit from RunFlat technologies. This is the solution to tyre problems.

Control. The winter version delivers excellent grip on wet roads thanks to connected shoulder blocks. High siping offers an excellent resistance to aquaplaning.

Comfort. The new tread design improves the absorption of road irregularities. A comfort comparable with standard tyres thanks to special focus on flexibility.

Snow. 3D sipes and slanted grooves guarantee traction in snow.

BRIDGESTONE DRIVEGUARD WINTER, A RUN-FLAT WINTER TYRE FOR ALL VEHICLES

Like its summer version, the DriveGuard Winter is a Run-Flat tyre that allows drivers to continue driving and keep control of their vehicle after a puncture, and this for 50 miles (80 kilometres) at speeds up to 50 mph (80 km/h). Available in 10 different sizes (for 15 to 17 inch rims), it is suitable for all vehicles equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
To achieve this, the DriveGuard Winter features reinforced sidewalls and a “Cooling Fin” design allowing the tyre to reduce heat build-upif the pressure falls, and therefore prevent any significant deformation of the carcass.

For its winter version, the DriveGuard Winter’s tread is based on the Blizzak LM001 design, launched at the beginning of 2014, and which offers optimum water evacuation and a compound delivering excellent wet grip. Finally, the 3D siping and slanted grooves ensure exceptional traction and handling on snow covered and frozen surfaces.

What is the rezulteo score?

The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
