Winter tyre originally developed for the BMW i3 and i8 electric cars, the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-500 Ologic is a narrow tyre designed to reduce rolling resistance.
Economy. Lower rolling resistance to prolong battery life thanks to the Ologic technology and a narrower tyre with a larger diameter.
Winter safety. The Multicell tread compound, designed to clear water rapidly, and the Ologic technology ensure superior grip on wet and snow covered roads.
Unique polymers in the tread compound enhance winter traction. Sipes and independent tread blocks increase the number of biting edges to improve traction and handling in snow and ice.
What is the rezulteo score?
The rezulteo score is calculated considering three performance categories: economy, comfort and safety. When it comes to winter tyres, the performance criteria snow and ice are added. By weighting different basic performance criteria an overall score is determined. This weighting is calculated based on the tyre size category: economic, high performance or sports.
