A tyre tailored for SUV performance

It's no coincidence that Jaguar Land Rover has chosen Goodyear to equip its SUVs. The American tyre manufacturer is already original equipment supplier for several vehicles produced by the British Group with the two companies working together to develop tyres that meet the Group’s requirements.

As a result of this partnership, the Range Rover Velar and Jaguar's first SUV the F-PACE, will both be fitted with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric SUV AT as original equipment. This tyre was specially designed to meet the demands of Jaguar Land Rover's SUVs, combining low rolling resistance and low weight with good off-road performance.  The tyre will carry the “J LR” marking on its sidewall indicating that it is approved by Jaguar Land Rover. It will be available in three sizes for 18 to 20 inch rims.

For the Land Rover Discovery, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric SUV has been approved as original equipment in three sizes: 255/60R19 113W, 255/55R20 110W and 275/45R21 110W. This tyre promises to deliver high performance in both dry and wet conditions while ensuring a quiet, comfortable ride.

Goodyear has welcomed the opportunity to work with the British brand stating, “Designing and engineering original equipment for the new iconic Jaguar Land Rover platforms shows once again Goodyear’s capability to understand and implement the requirements of premium vehicle manufacturers”.
