To equip it, the Gaydon brand has turned to Bridgestone and its ultra high performance tyre, the Potenza S007. This tyre’s carcass construction and tread guarantee maximum grip at high speeds in all conditions while its pattern blocks ensure superior steering control thus meeting the specific requirements to equip this exhilarating car.

But the partnership between the two brands does not stop at summer conditions and dry roads. For a confident drive in all circumstances, Bridgestone will also supply Aston Martin with the Blizzak LM001 developed for winter conditions. This very high performance tyre has been designed to equip sports cars in winter. As the brand explains, “the stiffness of 3D sipes combined with high-volume, slanted grooves create excellent traction on snow. Engineered with NanoPro-Tech polymers, a more flexible compound in cold weather, this tyre maintains optimal grip in low temperatures.”

Be selecting Bridgestone to equip its new DB11, Aston Martin has chosen to continue a partnership that began in 1994, when the Japanese tyre manufacturer equipped the DB7, then extended to 2003 when the DB9 was introduced. “Working with one of the world’s top luxury sports car icons is not only a privilege for our engineers, it is a great opportunity to raise the bar in terms of tyre design, efficiencies and performance” concludes Christophe de Valroger, Vice-President Original Equipment, Bridgestone Europe.
