Longevity. Sidewalls are tougher thanks to the thicker, extended shoulder rubber and the technique that deflects protruding objects to prevent snagging and splitting. The more evenly distributed stress over the footprint and interlocking blocks ensure uniform wear. Grooves are designed to avoid stone retention.

All-terrain. The 3D active sipe technology provides more biting edges for increased snow traction. Raised bars in the shoulders help release mud for enhanced traction in muddy ground. Staggered shoulder blocks improve manoeuvrability in soft soil or deep snow.

Developed for the general public, this tyre remains suitable for aggressive on and off road use. Indeed, BFGoodrich claims this tyre is developed for drivers using their vehicle in the toughest conditions whether for leisure or professional activities.

Compared with the All-Terrain T/A KO it replaces, the KO2 improves its performance in certain areas. 

Its longevity is 15 % longer on asphalt, and above all, twice as long on gravel. A result obtained thanks to a rubber that is optimally blended to reduce scuffing and tears on the tread.
Off-road driving enthusiasts will also appreciate the 10 percent more traction in mud and 19 percent more traction in snow.

Engineered from race-proven technology, for more resistance

The KO2 features CoreGard technology tested and proven during the famous Mexican Baja race which is characterised by its rough, demanding layout. This solution significantly improves the tyre’s resistance to splits and snags, particularly in sensitive areas of the tyre (sidewalls and shoulders). Compared to its predecessor, the KO2’s sidewall is 20 percent stronger.
